  • Best-Selling Author Website Design

Best-selling author Will Grant needed a classic, simple website to help promote his first-ever book. Being a first-time author is no small accomplishment, and we wanted to celebrate his story, his work, and the great adventure that inspired his book in the first place. A grand adventure can’t come with a boring website though, so we added creative flair throughout while keeping the site easy to navigate and highlighting his incredibly photography from the adventure featured in his book.

  • Pet Photography Website Design

Photography websites have two stars of the show: your photographs, and the story of your ideal client and how you can give them the experience of their dreams. I built this website for my own photography business and consistently rank in the top 10 on searches of my keyword in a competitive market.

  • Small Business Website Design

Clyde Hill Publishing recently added a new poetry imprint, Pulley Press, and needed to modernize their website. I redid their website from head to toe, creating an interactive “bookshelf” style site where users can see the many incredible titles available, click on the book cover images to be served a detailed page about each title, and learn more about the company’s writing collaborations with world renowned business leaders like Satya Nadella, Tom Alberg, and Oscar Munoz.

  • Product Copywriting

Each year, Cascade Designs puts out a gift guide for their suite of brands, each with a unique offering and voice. I was tasked with creating copy for the homepage and newsletter of each brand, along with the copy for their full gift guide. The work resulted in a guide that was engaging and fun, with language that was cohesive across their family of brands but still embraced the unique tone and voice of the brands as individual entities.

  • Marketing Strategy & Community Engagement

Before Academy Award-nominated and NYT best-selling author David France premiered The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson, he wanted to ensure her story—and the broader story of the transgender rights movement in New York City—was told accurately. I worked to build an advisory committee of prominent transgender activists, celebrities, and leaders of organizations working to improve transgender rights. The committee worked with David to ensure historical accuracy and engage the broader transgender community across the U.S. ahead of the film's release.

  • Marketing Strategy

The Works is a place for people to come together, learn a new skill, and connect. Their classes are in high demand and they are growing quickly. I worked directly with the founder to help bring her business to grow on the incredible work they've done organically and help bring the business to the next level through a focused and innovative marketing strategy, a genuine and thoughtful social media presence, and an educational and useful email newsletter.

  • Nonprofit Website Design

I led the total redesign of the MSR Global Health website, including developing wireframes, drafting copy, selecting images, and designing and building the layout. The site was designed to elevate the MSR Global Health story with a focus on their involvement in the research and development of new clean water technology as well as the incredible work they and their partners do across the globe.

  • Interactive Storytelling

We wanted to create an interactive piece that shared the history of the LGBTQ community in the United States based on a desire to use our skills to tell a story that needed to be elevated. I wore multiple hats for this project: marketing strategy development, copywriting and content development (researching events, drafting the language in the timeline, sourcing all images and video), project management and implementation of the promotion plan.

  • Writing & Editing

The Seattle Children's history page had not been updated in over ten years, which is a big deal when you're one of the most innovative hospitals in the country. I collaborated across teams at the hospital, research institute, and foundation to highlight major milestones and wins over the last ten years, sourced quotes, images, and videos, and developed engaging web copy to help tell the ongoing story of the impact of Seattle Children's, all while ensuring I remained on brand.
